Ways to connect with us and Jesus

Connect Points

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we provide a combination of online and in-person ways to connect! This way we can lovingly do our part to protect the health of our body and neighbors as well as maintain the beautiful, active life of our church family, all while respecting and honoring varying levels of comfort and caution with regards to COVID-19. We'd love for you to jump in and get a taste of our vibrant, multicultural community as we trust, treasure, and follow Jesus together.

Join us at any or all of our weekly Connect Points below.

Sunday Worship Service (In-Person and Online)

Every Sunday at 5pm, we gather to worship Jesus together. We pray, sing, and listen to life-giving messages from the Scriptures. This time is so important as it points us to the One who gives life in abundance. Join us in person at 5820 Riverdale Rd, Riverdale, MD 20737 (we rent the space from St. Johns Church).

Important safety notes for In-Person Services:

  • We do not provide PeaceKids (K-5 Programming) at this time due to safety concerns.
  • We take your safety very seriously. We require everyone wear masks at our services, including the worship team and preacher up front.
  • We take every attendee's temperature at the front door using a no-touch temperature reader and will kindly turn away anyone with a fever. If someone does have a fever, we will lovingly follow up with the person to make sure he or she is getting the care needed.
  • We disinfect all the pews (seats) before service and after service.
  • We rope off every other pew row and require every family unit to spread out.
  • We place several hand sanitizer stations so everyone has access.

If you need to stay at home, you are still wanted to stay connected! Be sure to join us online as we broadcast the entire Worship Service online via Facebook Live. Join us this Sunday at 5pm on Facebook Live @

Wednesday Bible Study (Online)

Every Wednesday at 7p, we will meet online to the study the scriptures together. One of our pastors will lead and facilitate the time of diving deep into a passage of scripture. We also encourage you to read the Bible daily with us using the PCC Bible Reading Plan.

This time will benefit you if:

  • you are curious to know what the Bible says
  • you have begun reading the Bible but want guidance on how to study it more in-depth
  • you struggle reading the Bible on your own and want to do it with a group
  • you want to know and love Jesus more through the scriptures

Friday Night Fire Pit (In-Person)

It's the fall season, which means it's fire pit season! Every Friday night in October and November, we will be gathering at Pastor Eric's lawn around a fire pit to hang out and spend time together (socially distant). We'll have chairs spread out and enjoy each other's company around a nice fire. Bring your own drinks and snacks (s'mores anyone?!). This will be a great way for us to build relationships and be relationally connected and healthy.

Email to receive the address.

Saturday Morning Prayer (Online)

Join us online on Saturdays from 7:30am-8:00am for prayer. In John 15:5, Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me." Jesus modeled this throughout his ministry as he regularly retreated from the crowds and activity of ministry to pray to his Father. We want to remain connected and dependent upon Jesus by committing to prayer for our hearts, neighbors and communities. Let's pursue growth in our prayer lives as we crawl forward together.

A prayer leader will intro the time with prayer, then open it up so different people can take turns praying aloud for what's on their hearts and minds. You can also share your prayer request and receive prayer. Though encouraged, you are not required to pray aloud. We still want you to join to listen and pray together.

Sabbath Walks (In-person)

Every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 10-11:30am, we meet at Lake Artemesia in College Park, MD, for the purpose of spending alone time with God, together. We'll gather together at the front gate entrance of the lake (socially distant), then disperse to spend time with the Lord individually for the first hour (10-11a). You can walk around the lake while praying, you can bring a bike, you can run, you can sit on a bench with a Bible or book, or you can even bring a rod and fish. It's up to you how to spend the hour. As the hour closes, we'll re-gather (socially distant) to catch up, talk and socialize for the last 30 minutes (11-11:30am).
